Certified Wound Specialist (CWS)

The American Academy of Wound Management (AAWM) and the Certified Wound Care Market Specialist (CWCMS) both provide ways to take the Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) exam.

Exam Details


This is a Computer Based Test
You will have 3 hours to take the test.
The exam consists of 200, multiple choice questions.
You can expect to pay up to $600 in fees for this exam.
The exam will cover 7 areas.
